Milestone Psychiatry provides mental health medication management. We do not offer counseling or therapy, but we are happy to assist you in finding a therapist or counselor who suits your needs.

Medication is a supportive tool used to improve functioning, reduce symptoms, and help individuals make better use of their coping skills. It may be a short-term or long-term part of your treatment plan, depending on your individual needs.

Yes. All services at Milestone Psychiatry are confidential. We do not release any information without your written consent, except when required by law or for billing purposes.
For clients aged 15 and older, a signed Release of Information (ROI) is required to share any information with a parent or legal guardian. -

We do not accept checks.
If you are seen via TherapyNotes Portal Telehealth, payment can be made through the platform at your appointment.
All co-pays and self-pay fees are due at the time of service.

In Colorado, individuals 15 years and older can consent to mental health treatment.
Appointments can be scheduled by the child or guardian. If your child has not signed a Release of Information, we cannot share any clinical details, even with parents.
However, the legal guardian remains financially responsible for all visits. -
We do not routinely complete forms related to disability, medical marijuana, or emotional support animals.

Our providers do not prescribe benzodiazepines. There are many other effective and safer treatment options available for managing anxiety.

We prescribe stimulants only to patients under 18.
There are alternative, evidence-based options for managing ADHD in both children and adults. -
If your medication is lost or stolen:
File a police report
Notify us and your pharmacy
Controlled substances cannot be refilled early, even if lost. To prevent loss, store medications securely and only travel with what you need for the duration of your trip.

Please bring:
A valid photo ID
Your insurance card
Any required payment (self-pay, co-pay, or co-insurance)
It's also helpful to bring a list of current and past medications for review.

We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If you miss 3 appointments or have repeated late cancellations, we may discontinue services.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.Consistent attendance and timeliness are essential for effective treatment.

You will be prescribed enough medication to last until your next appointment. If refills are appropriate, they will be provided.
If you miss an appointment, it's your responsibility to reschedule before running out.
If you need a refill, allow 72 hours for processing.
Prior authorizations may delay refills—these are handled by your insurance, and delays are outside of our control.

We offer telehealth appointments via TherapyNotes Patient Portal for your convenience. In-person appointments may be available depending on your location and provider availability.
